I Invited Her In - Adele Parks

The only slightly negative things for me was that I predicted most of the way through, what was going to happen. That is not a huge negative for me because I do it with all books. Sometimes I’m right, sometimes I’m wrong - but I analyse everything and that, is my own fault.

Either way, I certainly didn’t ruin it for myself. It is a fantastic book and I gave it 4/5 stars on Goodreads.

No spoilers as promised so I can’t go into too much detail about the book, but the main plot stems around Mel and her family. Out of the blue, she receives an email from an old friend who is clearly in need of a bit of help so Mel invites her to stay with them. Abi promises not to outstay her welcome but that’s exactly what she does... and that’s probably the nicest thing she does.

She goes on to make Mels life hell.

All of a sudden the story is very fast paced and you can’t help turning the page, reading ‘just one more chapter’ to see what happens.

I read this this book during my weekend. I was full of cold, lacking in energy and unable to breathe properly.

I DEVOURED this book in less than two days.

It was the only thing I could concentrate on and I loved it.

I don't think I've read an Adele Parks before, but I certainly will be giving another one of hers a go.

Highly recommend.
